Scans and dating

Over the course of around 15 years at MagazineCanteen we have travelled far and wide in our quest to own the most extensive collections of numerous weekend magazine titles.

Our collections of The Observer, The Sunday Times and The Telegraph are undoubtably the most concise collections worldwide. In addition to this, we have spent immeasurable hours/years detailing the contents of nearing 10,000 issues.

We have done this for one major reason. Of course, we absolutely love print, magazine collecting, the history and insight into times past that these publications offer. But, we also expect to make a living. To fund our archive, to purchase more - and to live! Our intention was never to provide a free database for those with increasing determination to steal our data, or those wishing to shop elsewhere.

On this basis, we are removing all the dates of these publications from our inventory. Unless you are here to take advantage of us, this should be in no way a problem. What remains is one of the most extensive collections of issues available to purchase worldwide. The chance to own the physical object containing the article or individual you collect. This is all perfectly searchable.

The scans provided for our archive available to purchase show the actual physical copy we own ( we never use stock images ) The scan may discreetly, or obviously show that the date has been removed for the scanned image only. This is intentional.

For anybody wishing to purchase a specific issue from a specific date, please feel free to send us a message. We are aware that these are often purchased as a birthday gift for those born on this week. And as we have practically every issue of these 3 titles, we are most likely able to oblige.

Thank you. MC
